Learn More About the TIP Program

Karen Topping's SONRISA STABLES YOUTH PROGRAM
is bringing 4 halter-trained yearlings. This wonderful program pairs kids and Mustangs in a win-win partnership:

"What started as a fun project has grown into a very popular event. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a volunteer program to help gentle their mustangs in preparation for adoption. Although the BLM only has 4 requirements, we created our own fun — requirement-60 day challenge among the students, with a barn competition obstacle course for points and prizes at the end of the 60 days. Every spring the teams go on an overnight trip to the Litchfield corrals to select their mustangs from the 200 head yearling herd, and this year they are bringing them to the Napa Valley Mustang Days adoption" - Karen Topping

Dakota is a Twin Peaks gelding; 2 yrs old, bright bay, stripe on the face. No other white. He is adorable. Very loving and kind. He has a cute, cheeky side as well and likes to play. Very quick learner.
